MEPL is a technology-driven start-up founded to design, develop and manufacture electrical and electronic safety systems for railway rolling stock.
The company is steered by young professionals with extensive experience in railway electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical systems. The core team covers electrical and electronics engineering, embedded firmware, power electronics design, testing and validation, and railway standards and quality assurance. Senior professionals with deep railway experience guide their work.
Our vision is to build indigenous, safe, reliable and cost-effective products that meet the latest requirements of Indian Railways, in support of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Monitors transformer oil pressure in electric locomotives over a 0–4 bar range, with a 4–20 mA output to the locomotive control system.

Air-sampling smoke and fire detection for electric locomotives, with two opto-electronic smoke sensors and airflow monitoring.

An underslung, constant-voltage regulated and emergency battery charger for LHB coaches.
